Come and join us at the second annual Made in CT Fair at the Colonial Tavern in Oxford, CT this Sunday from 10:00 - 4:00. There will be a plethora of CT made products including crafts and fine specialty foods. Great fun for the whole family!

We are pleased to inform you that as of this week Salsa Loca will be available in three more local stores! Look for us at Robert's in Madison, CT, Whitneyville Food Center in Hamden, CT, and River Valley Market in Northampton, MA.

Starting this Sunday, 8/24, we will be attending the Coventry Farmer's Market at the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry, CT. We are very excited to be a part of this wonderful market, and the season runs until October 26th.

We have begun using native green peppers and red onions from Young's Farm right here in East Granby. Most of our produce has started becoming more and more local.

Since the FDA has found the source of the Salmonella outbreaks in serrano peppers from Mexico, we have resumed making Salsa Loca with jalapenos. Salsa Loca with "sell by" dates of 9/5 and later all contain jalapenos.

Due to the ongoing issues with Salmonella outbreaks we have temporarily alterred our recipes to exclude jalapeno peppers. There is not currently any Salsa Loca available with jalapenos.

Florida tomatoes deemed safe by the U.S.D.A. All of the Salsa Loca on store shelves contains tomatoes from either Florida or South Carolina, both of which have been proven not to contain the salmonella bacteria. Please continue to enjoy Salsa Loca and feel free to contact us anytime.
